In this role you will be associated with a Centre for Construction Innovation and Research, established within the School and will be expected to enroll in and complete a PhD programme within 3 years. You will work with, and be responsible to, the Associate Dean for Research & Innovation and the designated Director of Studies on a day-to-day basis in order to increase and sustain research activity through assisting in running EU funded research projects, project supervision and income generation.

The successful candidate must hold an MSc degree (or equivalent) in electrical engineering, computer science or a related discipline.  You must have the relevant technical, professional or specialist knowledge in Engineering to carry out the role. The post holder will be required to engage in high level research and must be capable of analysing complex research ideas. You will liaise with people and participate in networks internally and externally, as required, to ensure good dissemination of research activities and facilitate collaborative work.
