Two qualitative Research Associate positions: Loughborough Design School - Deadline: 29 August 2017

We are pleased to offer two new qualitative research posts in the energy field at Loughborough Design School, Loughborough University, UK:

Consumer requirements for domestic hot water

Consumer requirements for thermal energy storage

These two new researchers will join Loughborough Design School to work on EPSRC funded projects i-STUTE (an End-Use Energy Demand Centre) and 4S-DHW (Small, smart, sustainable solutions for domestic hot water). Both research projects focus on reduction of energy demand in the domestic sector. Our role is to explore and understand the consumers’ requirements and therefore inform the design and development of new technology, systems and policy. The successful candidates are likely to be from a user centred design, design research, human factors, psychology or social science background.

Closing date for applications is 29 August, interviews will take place on 12 September. Informal enquiries are welcomed before 12 August and should be directed to Dr Victoria Haines on +44 (0)1509 226915 or e-mail
